Brown-Tougaloo Partnership

Graduate Programs

Brown-Tougaloo Partnership programs for graduate students include opportunities to apply early admission to medical school and pursue a master’s in public health, among others.

The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University hosts an Early Identification Program (EIP) in Medicine that offers Tougaloo pre-med students a route to apply for early admission.   The program provides fee waivers, MCAT waivers, application support and targeted recruiting on Tougaloo’s campus. Launched in 1976, the EIP continues to be a special highlight of the partnership, as one of the longest-standing active programs between the institutions.

The Health Equity Scholars program is a scholarship and leadership development opportunity for select students entering the Master of Public Health Program at Brown University. The Health Equity Scholars program offers full tuition support, a partially paid research assistantship, and structured mentoring and coaching.
