Founded in 2007, the Bernstein Scholars Program funds research projects led by students involved in the Brown-Tougaloo Student Semester Exchange Program that will have an impact on student learning while improving and fostering the partnership between Brown and Tougaloo. Students may convene focus groups; conduct field research in the areas of history, public health, culture or policy; or organize other community-based research projects.
